The AI coach, narrated voices, and the bigger 3D worlds cost real money to run and took real time to make. A small subscription lets us keep the lights on without filling the app with ads or selling your child's data. We don't do either of those things.
No. The Free plan is genuinely useful on its own. It includes Spell Buddy with a curated word list, the Alphabet, Echo for hearing your voice, the Numbers grid, and a real taste of every other activity. You can stay on Free forever and still get value.
Just the price. Annual is billed once for the whole year and works out cheaper than paying month by month, so you save by paying yearly. Same access either way, and you can cancel any time. (See the exact prices on the cards above.)

The Free tier is the trial. It never expires. Upgrading is instant and takes a couple of clicks. Cancelling is just as easy.
